I have created a keyboard panel for the built-in MacOS accessibility keyboard. This is a page showing how to install and show the panel!
To import and set up the Accessibility Keyboard on a Mac, follow these steps:
Open System Settings:
Click on the Apple logo () in the top-left corner of your screen.
Select System Settings from the dropdown menu.
Access the Accessibility Section:
In the left sidebar of the System Settings window, scroll down and select Accessibility.
Find the Accessibility Keyboard:
In the Accessibility menu, look for the Keyboard section under the "Motor" category.
Click on Keyboard, and then select Accessibility Keyboard.
Enable the Accessibility Keyboard:
Toggle the switch for Accessibility Keyboard to turn it on.
Customize the Keyboard (Optional):
You can customize the on-screen keyboard by clicking on Options. This allows you to adjust settings such as the size of the keys, key layout, and more.
Using the Keyboard:
Once enabled, the Accessibility Keyboard will appear on your screen. You can use it to type by clicking on the keys with your mouse or other pointing device.
You can also enable features like "Sticky Keys," "Mouse Keys," or "Hover Text" depending on your needs.
The on-screen keyboard can help with tasks if you need an alternative to using a physical keyboard, providing more accessibility options for various needs.
To import an ascconfig file to the Accessibility Keyboard Panel Editor on a Mac, you can use the following steps:
Open the System Settings by clicking the Apple menu and selecting System Settings
Click Accessibility in the sidebar
Click Keyboard on the right

Dwell: Enables mouse actions using eye or head tracking. You can adjust the dwell time, which is how long the pointer must hover over an item before it's activated.
Typing Suggestions: Displays suggested words as you type.
Toolbar Customization: While not explicitly for adding toolbars, this section allows you to adjust the keyboard's layout and features.
Important Notes:
Dwell: If you plan to use Dwell with the Accessibility Keyboard, ensure it's properly configured in your system settings.
Third-Party Tools: Some third-party accessibility tools might offer more advanced customization options for the Accessibility Keyboard, including creating custom toolbars.
